Case Study 2: Driving Ticket Sales with Email Marketing

A Film Expo event, called NorCal Film Expo, brought me on just two weeks before their event date. They had a handful of marketing areas that needed to be covered, including needing a blast email campaign to go out to their event attendees list from last year. Immediately recognizing the potential for directly communicating to past attendees, Digital Trinity Marketing chose to take charge of that marketing task. Our team combined, imported, organized, and tagged their email lists in Wix where the event’s website is hosted, created a compelling email blast, and sent it out 5 days before the event date. This one email increased the event founder’s website and ticket page visits by an incredible 141% compared to the previous 5 days. As a result, a quarter of total ticket sales came directly from that email campaign and the event was a huge success compared to the previous year.

A nonprofit animal rescue needed a functional website to showcase fundraising events, donation drop-off locations, success stories, natural disaster resources, and a donate button and online payment processor. Their previous website was not only completely outdated, but the client was also having issues with the payment processor she was using at the time.
